Glenvill Homes announce trifecta nomination in the 2021 HIA awards

At Glenvill, our business practices are underpinned by our simple approach to defy the ordinary. It’s this philosophy that has seen us win over 180 Awards in our 62 years of operation.

After a short hiatus from the Award space, we are honoured to announce our status as finalists in three of this year’s 2021 HIA Victoria Award categories, including the prestigious Professional Major Builder Award.

We have a long-standing relationship with the renowned industry body, winning our first HIA award during our early beginnings in 1969.

Our Managing Director, Leigh Squarci, says he is proud of the team at Glenvill, but not surprised by our nomination as finalists within the three categories.

“I am extremely proud of the entire Glenvill team on this accomplishment. To be nominated as finalists in three prestigious categories recognises the hard work of our dedicated team to design and deliver innovative, quality homes to our clients.”

“Glenvill works collaboratively as a group of industry experts to enrich peoples’ lives by delivering exceptional places to live.”

“Of all years to be nominated, this year holds significant importance and speaks volumes to the performance and capabilities of the team,” he says.

Our second finalist position is for Eastern Victoria Regional Custom Built Home – $1million – $1.5million category for our Mornington Peninsula home. With sweeping views of the coastline and its close proximity to the water’s edge, its position is easily considered one of the most outstanding on the Victorian coast.

The brief for this home was to create a weather-resistant, functional holiday retreat which took full advantage of its location. The final result was a contemporary coastal hideaway that represents Glenvill’s architectural design and build capabilities.

Last but certainly not least, we are finalists for Display Home of the Year for our Collection Showhome in Bentleigh East At 44 squares, including four bedrooms all with ensuites, three living rooms and a study – the Contemporary Residence is a home of expansive proportions with multifunctional spaces that sprawl across two storeys.

It is a great honour and achievement to be recognised for our excellence by Australia’s largest national association for the residential building industry.
